Diana Field was exposed to photography from a very early age. A darkroom was part of the rambling ranch house where she grew up. She spent many hours with her father learning how to develop film and print black and white photographs. By the age of 10 she was able to do all her own processing and won many awards in junior photography competitions. Diana graduated from high school with a scholarship to art school, but her love of horses and her many state and national awards in riding led her to a 40 year career in the horse business. Along the way, Diana continued to take photographs. As an amateur photographer she won many awards including "Best of Show" at the Napa County Fair.
Now working as a full time equine photographer, Diana still finds time to get out in nature where she enjoys photographing landscapes and flowers. A collection of her flowers has been used for calendars and greeting cards. Diana is available for horse shows and private sessions for horses and other pets. A small sample of her photographs can be seen in her equine and pet portfolio. She is a member of the Professional Photographers of California and the Photographic Society of America.
